Brian Whitaker, PE, Joins CHA as Senior Vice President to Lead Transportation Group Operations

ATLANTA, GA – CHA Consulting, Inc. (CHA), a highly diversified, full-service engineering and construction management firm, is pleased to announce Brian Whitaker, PE, has joined the firm as senior vice president and transportation group operations leader.  He will be based in Atlanta and responsible for directing daily operations while working closely with leadership to identify growth opportunities.

Brian brings 27 years of experience in the planning, permitting, design, construction, and maintenance of transportation projects, spending 20 years with ARCADIS. While based in Tennessee, he served as the multi-state operations leader for ARCADIS' infrastructure division and most recently in Tampa as senior project manager supporting Florida DOT's Tampa Bay Next, a $4 billion program to improve mobility on the interstate system with the proposed construction of managed lanes.

Brian has completed transportation design projects for more than 18 governmental agencies across seven states. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Tennessee located in Knoxville.
