CHA also presented the Adam W. Lawas Scholarship Award to Dana Eschler, a mechanical engineering major at Rochester Institute of Technology planning to graduate in June 2021 with a BS/ME. Dana is a Dean’s List student from Garrattsville, NY. She is the Frame Lead/Design Presenter for the RIT RIOT Racing Team (Champions in 2018) as well as a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and WE@RIT (Women in Engineering at RIT). The $1,500 scholarship, to honor the memory of former CHA associate Adam W. Lawas, PE, recognizes a mechanical engineering student who has maintained academic excellence and demonstrated experience and interest in the practical application of mechanical engineering principles.
