This new Herb Chambers Lexus dealership invites car buyers to a seamless and comfortable shopping experience. This two-story dealership features a car wash and vehicle fueling station and incorporates an array of sustainable Low Impact Development (LID) features—rain gardens, porous pavement, energy-efficient LED site lighting, stormwater capture and reuse for irrigation, and a substantial wetland mitigation area.

CHA performed the site civil and landscape design, permitting, and construction administration in creating this dealership. The undertaking involved an intricate permitting process, navigating approvals at both state and local levels. We adeptly secured permits from MassDOT and MEPA while garnering approvals from the Hingham Zoning Board, Planning Board, Conservation Commission, and Board of Health to craft a project adhering to regulatory standards and harmonizing with the local community.

This collaborative effort culminated in a transformative automotive destination benefitting the Herb Chambers Lexus dealership in multiple dimensions. Beyond providing a striking and functional space for customers, the sustainable elements align with environmental stewardship and position the dealership as a trailblazer in environmentally friendly business practices.
